Pool update
The project is in its final stages with only a few steps remaining to complete the needed maintenance of the pool housing area and pool. Please see the remaining steps below:
- Electrical Components are being completed with a pending inspection by the City of Washougal.
- Ducting is being scheduled to be rehung in the pool area.
- Wood pool cover will be removed once ducting has been hung.
- Once the wood pool cover is removed, the water will be cleaned, and chemicals balanced.
- Once the chemicals have been balanced, the pool will need to run for approximately 48-72 hours to ensure the system is running smoothly.
- The last step is to activate the new Air Exchanger and calibrate the system for 48-72 hours.
Once these steps have been completed, notice will be sent to the Community that the pool and spa are once again open for normal use.
The Association appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding while this project is being completed. While it was the hope there would be no delays or additional maintenance needed as walls were taken down, Boards were removed, and windows were replaced, unfortunately what was found was beyond the control of all involved.
The team onsite has done a great job at tackling these unexpected issues as they arose and managing the risks for the Association.
In the end, this project has mitigated and prevented far greater issues for the Association and the improvements should increase the functionality of the pool and allow Sunset Ridge residents the opportunity to enjoy these amenities far into the future.
Lastly, a huge thanks to Monica Georgianna the Clubhouse Manager for Sunset Ridge who has overseen this project daily, and has worked diligently for the Association, and been the eyes, ears, and feet on the ground. Your hard work has not gone unnoticed Monica!! Thank you for everything!
